I took my three year old daughter with me to visit the small community of Verdi, TX. We were there to check out Vintage in Verdi, the cutest little outdoor market with something for everyone. It was the 6th annual vintage market event, and every year it gets bigger and brighter.
First things first, y’all: They had a wine booth, and as my friend Amber said, ‘You could slay and rosé all day!’ There was also plenty for the kiddos to do including free Christmas crafting, a mini playground, and pony rides. My daughter Marie rode a pony for the first time! She and her friend Levi had fun decorating Christmas cards, ornaments, and playing on the merry-go-round.
There were over 90 vendors with all kinds of goodies. Everything from up-cycled and handcrafted Christmas decor, vintage records, antiques, fresh baked bread, and everything in between. All of the homemade food vendors had samples and everyone was super friendly. I loved how hands on it was! There were several DIY vendors including a really cool looking vintage air stream trailer selling succulents, and they even had a plant your own succulent bar. Also, A DIY sign booth and I’m pretty sure I saw a DIY painting area too.
Vintage in Verdi takes place at the Verdi Community Center and with the money donated to the community from previous years, they have remodeled the community center. If you’re into junkin’, shopping, or just a good time out in the country, visit Vintage in Verdi next year.
